Food Bank
The Student Society operates a food bank at both campuses; in the Fisher Building at Lansdowne campus, and in the Campus Centre building at Interurban. We will provide non-perishable food items to any Camosun student for free. We try and keep our shelves filled. We ask that students limit themselves to two items per day.
Bread
During the regular academic year, the CCSS operates a bread program Thursday at alternating campuses. Please respect the limit of 1 loaf or 1 bag per Thursday to ensure that every student who wishes for bread receives bread.
The bread is donated by Jeneece Place, and we thank them for it.
Holiday Food Hamper Registration
Every December, the CCSS assembles and distributes holiday hampers for students in need.
If you are a Camosun student in need of a food hamper, please watch our social media in the first weeks of November, to sign up. There is a limited number of hampers available on each campus. Hampers will be available for pick up the first week in December.
