What we can help with:

Posters

We have the ability to print and post up to 5 posters per event per campus, and from September to April we are able to put them up with the help of our Walksafer employees during their rounds.

 Space at Campus Life Days

Our Campus Life Days run Monday and Tuesday at Interurban in the CBA Atrium 1st floor, and Wednesday and Thursday at Lansdowne in the Fisher Building Foyer. All days run 10am-2pm.

There are always board games, video games, and arts/crafts set up at the Campus Life Days and we tend to get a great many students passing through on these days.

Provided we are not already at capacity, we are happy to help students by providing tabling space for their groups to set up info booths, collect donations, etc. If you need a space to interact with students this is a very good option.

Please let us know a week in advance if you would like to join us at any of the Campus Life Days, if we are not fully booked up, we will ensure there is a space reserved for you!

Instagram (and other socials)

The CCSS has multiple social media accounts we use to promote our own events and school/student-related events. If students working on a class project wish to tag us, or collaborate with us on a social media post, we are very happy to reshare it on our socials to help them get the word out.

Other Requests

We have some resources, such as tents, games, and sports equipment, which we may be able to loan out for student events. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis and will often depend on how much notice you are able to give us prior to your event.

What we can’t help with:

Funding Projects

Unfortunately, we are unable to fund class related projects for students. Since they do not qualify as CCSS registered clubs, they and so are unable to access CCSS Clubs Funding.

Staff
We do not have the staff necessary to work on class projects. We can help in a minimal capacity if a student project needs to borrow a tent for outdoor activities and needs help setting it up, but we cannot watch donation bins for students or sit at tables if a student is unable to be there the full time.
We are also not able to design posters, social media posts, or other graphics for student projects. If students want our help with postering and social media postings they must send us the completed images to print/post.

Storage

We do not have the room to store things for class projects. For example if a student group is running a clothing drive, and wishes to put a donation bin at our Campus Life Days they must bring it in the morning and pick it up at the end of the event. We do not have the space to store these things.
