Club description
To construct a 3D printer from “scratch” using parts ordered online, and printed/built at the college. This new 3D printer will allow access to the hobby/skill without risk of damage to existing college printers, and be passed on to future 1st years to experiment with. The club will educate new members in the workings of a 3D printer, the software used to interact with it, and allow anyone to “print/replicate” their own printer! (As well assist in assembly). This semester, we will be sourcing parts and preparing to build the first printer, it may likely run into the next semester.
