The club aims to provide hands-on experience in engineering to members through real-world projects. Revolutionary Communists of Camosun

Club description

We believe that in order to truly put an end to war, poverty, inequality, environmental destruction and all forms of oppression, we need to overthrow the capitalist system. We are internationalists and believe that only a united struggle of the working class with all layers of the oppressed can achieve our aims. We combine serious study of Marxist theory with active participation in both the student and workers’ movement in order to advance these struggles in the here and now.

We are the Camosun student club for the Revolutionary Communist Party and have several sibling clubs at colleges and universities in BC.

Muslim Students Alliance

Club description

The Muslim Student Alliance aims to provide a support group for Muslim students enrolled in Camosun. The support could be a form of monthly gathering wherein topics will evolve, such as discussion of Hadiths, Quran verses, and sharing of resources to create a group of students with the same beliefs and values. It may be challenging for the Muslim community in Camosun to find friends and talk about their feelings and concerns about their faith. We also look forward to organizing Ramadan awareness next year and arranging an Iftar dinner for the students to support their fasting.

Comics Club

We’re getting together before classes to discuss classes, comics, or anything nerd-related, and to help each other on current projects.
