What are student elections?
Student elections are held twice a year at Camosun College – in the Spring and Fall. All current Camosun students are eligible to hold elected positions on the Camosun College Student Society Student Council. Students also have elected positions on Camosun College governance bodies (Education Council and Camosun College Board of Governors). Elected positions are held for 12 month terms, with varying term start dates. Any Student Society positions that become vacant before the end of their term are filled through election, or by appointment until the next election period. Click here to see who’s currently elected!
Why should YOU run in the elections?
If you’re a student who wants to make a difference, become involved in your community, or contribute to the campus environment, you should consider running in the elections! Being a student representative is a great opportunity for you to build experience, advocate for students, represent the needs of Camosun’s diverse student population, and make an impact during your time at Camosun College… Many students before you have!
Which positions will be elected this Spring?

Vacant Constituency and Campus Director Positions
Note: You may only register as an election candidate for ONE (1) position.
